It would be nice if we could get a timeframe. It's fun spending 240.00 and then getting to watch the people who have paid nothing playing the day away.

Acutally If you've payed nothing you can't play, as you didn't pre-order.

I would like to get an answer here too.

It is really annoying now. People are playing and creating their fleets, while we can't, because we want to create a borg character.
Also other lifetimers were able to create a borg char already! THIS is absolutely frustrating now.

Beta is over, you are in real business now! Do something and care about your customers Cryptic!

Saying that it was taken down so people could "at least play" doesn't do many of us any good. The sever might as well be off if there is no borg available to me. Why would I want to create another character and play for a while to delete it. I did that enough in beta.

It's been enough time now. Flip it back on and let us grab it. If it bogs things a bit, I think that's fair since we have invested the most up front in your product.

In the very least an update with an ETA would be nice.

Hahaha while you're at it the servers might as well be down until I can play my Joined Trill on Tuesday by your logic. I payed over $190 and those filthy curs only paid 50 dollars and get to play! You can play too, even without your Borg. That's what I'll be doing in regards to my Joined Trill.

We enetered into a binding contract with set expectation that cost us money. I, like many others would like to know why that deal is not being honored. More importantly I want to know what Cryptic intends to do to compensate me and us for our loss.

Nothing, because it don't work now. And I personally don't want to create another char and delete it when the borg is available.

YOu can't bring up the Trill BS. 1, the trill is tied to a retail code, ours isn't. 2, it was known for weeks that trill would not come until the 2nd, and borg was confirmed for head start.

If you have a lifetime sub then you have the rest of the life of the game to get your borg. You are seriously throwing a fit over not having something made immediately available to you?

It's not like they are taking away your dolly. Your dolly is simply broke, and they are trying to fix it before they give it back to you.

it is grossly incompetent to not have promised character options available at launch..since...*gasp* we want to have our characters and level them. I can't believe Cryptic could not get even this basic thing right.

The borg headstart officer was the thing that pushed me the lifetime...so this is nothing more than a bait and switch and they should be ashamed.

I haven't whined about the joined trill, and I don't intend to. However, I will say to you what has been said to the people asking about their retail bonuses. The game has not officially launched yet. I don't think you have any real cause for saying you haven't gotten what you paid for when the game is still in head start. If it's still not available at launch, then I'll have all the sympathy in the world for you.

They sold lifetime subs and Digital orders with Trills in them both without stating availability would be an issue in the headstart. They clarified the digital orders only after you couldn't get your money back if you wanted to, and you know what life goes on I'll deal with it. They said it would be available for you and it isn't YET, you know what life will still go on for you as well.

Well, honestly i am not ****ed at not having the Borg atm. I am ****ed at not having a measurable estimate.

If they told me "The borg character will be avaible within the next four hours" i'd happily log out and do something else for those four hours.

Cryptic if you don't want to answer the tickets properly, do not display the ticket system.

Also, you might want to put out an hourly statement as the what is happening, i.e. Status Update. One paragraph. Is it too much to ask? You do have a PR Rep no? It has been 4 hours since launch, and no major statement as to the status of the game. The game is now live, it is no longer in Beta. Your reputation is on the line.

It has been 3.5 hours, a lot of people are able to log in. I cannot even activate my launcher, and the Server Status reads UP. So I can only assume that things are hunky dorrie. I couldn't give a damn about the borg character, period. It'll happen when it happens.
