If this was sarcasm , it failed.

This WAS the smoothest launch ive been in for ages, Age of Conan, Lotro, Warhammer Online ALL had far more problems than STO is having.

I think it is going well so far. I did not read much of the ins and outs of the game but that is kind of fun to figure out since I dont necesarily want to rush to level.

Yup. WhilIe I was in it was great. Not your problem Steam messed it up for me.

No biggie.

Congratumulations to Cryptic on a pretty cool launch. Not flawless for sure, but definitley one of the better launches in recent MMO history. :)

Thanks here too. I would like to add that I was one of those who did not have his Borg. But it only took a few hours to resolve the issue. Cryptic works fast IMHO. Thanks for your hard work Devs.

Maybe, maybe not. I do not doubt for a moment that Cryptic is working as hard as they can on fixing the issues that come up. And, as I said on the first page, this has been a smoother launch than a lot I can remember. Sure, some things are going wrong. But if you expected anything different, you've not played many MMOs at launch. They deserve some thanks for their hard work, even if others are screaming for their heads.

It's been ok for me too, got my liberated borg after a short time and played through the tutorial. Admittedly I couldnt get on as the servers opened but I didn't expect to either. It's been generally very smooth, especially considering the numbers of players I have seen...
