I understand you closed the other thread, but it was not a Troll post. I'm sure there are others cancelling lifetime subs after the borg fiasco. After sitting on hold for 25 mins with billing I'd just like to know exactly who I contact to remove my lifetime sub for a regular one.

Quite sad that you took out the lifetime just to have the borg in headstart, its a hiccup ill grant that, but it aint that you wont get it, the lifetime wasnt really for the borg, the borg was an extra bonus.

Thanks for those that pointed me to the ticket site, I submitted one. Thankfully Ill be refunded the waste of $240 on a lifetime subscription. I never said I was quitting, I'm just not going to overpay for something that I'm not going to use because of cryptic's error.

If that is the case than to be honest you never should have gotten a lifetime sub if you're that impatient. as far as MMO launches go missing 4 hours of a perk is nothing. I expected the servers to be unplayable for the most part.

It is NOT fixed now.

It IS fixed for alot of people(myself included) Just made my borg 30 min ago.

That's your opinion. I was told I would have access to Borg at he beginning of headstart. I planned accordingly.

It might have been something that they couldnt control, if you aint a kid your acting like one.

i dont get my preorder perk untill my retail box ships, but it doesnt matter if i had the lifetime and couldnt get my borg, the game is still fun and you WILL be able to get it.

i had hoped that all the whining would stop when the forums were locked to active accounts, but it seems to me that a lot of poeple here have nothing better to do than whine.

PS im at work right now and cant enjoy the game at all. i am eager to play but i also have a modicum of patience.

So when you go to McDonalds and buy a cheeseburger, do you start demanding a refund if the thing isn't in your mouth within 15 seconds? Seems about the same thing to me time-scale wise.

Wow at least most of you got to play. I am stuck at work until 9 am tomorrow so instead I get my son calling me with constant updates about how great it is. For the record he has had no issues at all.

I am sorry to see you cancel a lifetime sub over such a minor issue. I understand it may not seem minor to you but in the great scheme of the universe it really is. At least we got headstart they could have just skipped the whole thing and waited for release day.

Yeh some of us ordered with Steam (after HMV UK, Amazon UK, Game UK, and got let down), and STILL cannot play!

Its not the Borg fiasco itself, at least not for me, its the End Of Beta flop, the servers going down flop, this borg flop, its Cryptic's track record. With the CO fiasco and the 0 day patch they handed out refunds because the patch nerfed most of the game with no warning.

To the OP, I was considering a refund as well but they did clear it up, although you are well within your rights to cancel because the game hasn't been released yet.
