Looking for a british fleet

Hello as the title states i`m looking for a mainly british fleet, which has a friendly attitude towards new players. This is my first time playing an mmo although i`m what some people call a hardcore gamer? FPS, RTS and RPG games mostly, plus where possible co-op.
I`ve been looking at the fleet registration forum for some time and all its done is confuse me as to how the fleets work. EG progression though fleet, The job you do in a fleet, The type of game the different fleets play PVP PVE RP.
So if there are any Admirals of a fleet looking to hire a newbie who is up for playing PVP PVE RP Raiding etc give me a call.
Now for a little bit about me and what i would like to do.... I`m thinking of playing as tatical or heavy tatical or maybe science long range or deep space, although i do not want to be limited too one job in a fleet.
I would also like the fleet to be a serious fleet where the fleet players care about the fleets progression but at the same time have fun.I`m not really a casual gamer so i do not want a casual fleet.
I`also looking for a reasonable mature fleet as i`m in my mid thirties.

Seems to be quite a few of us searching for 1.

There does seem to be quite a few US fleets taking also EU people but not many EU fleets.

If it keeps going this way then maybe we should just ban together and get a fleet going.

Also would like to find a fleet in the UK. It's always so annoying being in a State-side guild. Everyone gets off from work in the states and I want to go to bed here. :)

If you're still looking for fleets you may also like to consider us. The British Starfleet Corps is made up of members from around the world, but the majority are UK/EU-based in STO at the moment. We're a mature, friendly community with members ranging in age from 15 to over 50, but the one thing we share is the fact we're all here to have fun! We're probably a bit casaul for the OP but some of you may be looking for variations on a theme.

We're not strictly a British fleet, rather an international one but we have a lot of members from the UK, and generally our busiest TeamSpeak hours are GMT friendly. I myself am from the UK.

Take a look at 3rd Fleet, we are a truly international fleet and were founded in Germany. With English, German, French and Spanish speaking divisions we definitely retain an EU bias. When you add in our North American members and those elsewhere around the world you will see that we have most timezones covered :)

3rd Fleet is also a mature/casual fleet. We get that real life happens and we won't grief you about your game-time.

Finally, we're active running STF's, multi-fleet and levelling events with a Teamspeak server to keep the communications flowing (optional). And of course we have an active forum.

In 3rd Fleet it's all about the fun.

Hey Guys we are one of those Canada/USA fleets but we have a couple of players in the UK and a couple of players that are on ALL the time.

One thing we have is a mature +30 mature fleet that is more social that anything else. It would be great if we could build up our UK side of the fleet b/c all it takes is good people. Everything is set up and we are a fun bunch of people.

If you don't like the TOS theme we have a TNG theme and a Klingon fleet as well. We are just a bunch of people with families that like the game and our family and work come first.

Everyone is an equal and the fleet leadership are more administrators and support rather than bosses. We have enough of them in the RL. Please think about The Original Series Veterans when you make your choice and you will have a say in the direction of the fleet.

There's plenty of British members in 12th Fleet. Just like myself.

12th catters to all requirements from RP , to PvP to general social.


12th Fleet were the first fleet I joined back in December 2010, and I couldn't speak highly enough of them all.
