Just wondering if anyone knows the actual difference between phasors and disruptors... the stats are identical....

I'm not sure but I know some shielding on the federation side as 10-20% disruptor damage deduction. So one would assume Klingons have the same for their ships but for phasers.

Energy attacks inflict special debuffs and other effects on targets depending upon what energy they're using. That's the only difference.
