Andorians only good for tanks?

I wanted to play as an Andorian and I was trying to find some info for what class would be good. Sure, its early days yet but all I could find was http://www.massively.com/2010/01/19/massivelys-guide-to-the-character-traits-of-star-trek-online/#traitsfed which recommended tanking. Any one like Andorians for any thing else?

The different races aren't that important. With the Andorian you'll have some extra exploit damage when in ground combat. You still get to pick several traits of your choice. Overall the bonus from traits is fairly minor. I'd play whatever you want. In the end the difference isn't going to make or break your character.

Also, there's no real tanking in the game that I've seen, either on the ground or in space.

Yeah, the character creator is quite flexible. I had an Andorian in beta that I made into a debuffer/hi-damage guy. It's really up to you.
