Cryptic, bring back those threads. Otherwise you'll be viewed as trying to HIDE valid community concerns for this game.

If you REALLY care about what the community has to say, you'll keep those threads and let them run their course and LEARN from them....

...It was obvious from the start they'd wipe the beta threads for the retail forum.

So no, they're not 'hiding' anything. They're doing what they said they'd do, which is just clearing the testing threads for retail threads.

They cleared the forum of all threads pre head start so that new problems from head start+ could be found and read easier.

There has been no major changes to the game between Open Beta and Head Start. Most all of the threads prior are still valid concerns worthy of discussion.

They made it very clear this would happen well ahead of time, very clear. It's house cleaning, and much needed, nothing more nothing less.

Really don't see the fuzz to be honest, it cost you maybe 45 buck to play the game for 30 days.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 did cost me the same and I was done with it after 2 weeks.
money good spends imho, if I get bored with STO I suspend my account and move on.

Even if there were announcements, it doesn't make it right.

It's the principle of the matter. Many people posted a lot on constructive feedback and requests to Cryptic about the game (which now no longer exist) to be a forum for people to provide their opinions and feedbacks.

Cryptic by going ahead removing them (even when it's their right to do so) simply in my opinion shows that Cryptic has no respect nor concern about what their community thinks.

This is disappointing that a company takes such a position.

They delete 'em and they're trying to sweep complains under the rug. They don't delete 'em and they're trying to hide them in a back closet. Quite obviously you're going to find something to complain about so by all means... shove off.
