So I generally did missions solo in OB, (occasionally with one friend) and they were at a good level of difficulty. I mean sure, they weren't particularly hard, but they weren't too easy, its till felt like I had to do something to win. on average I'd get to like 60-70% hull if I did well against a Negh'var. I've killed 2 since head start...and I haven't gone below 97% hull. The BoP squadrons of 3 used to pose a wee bit of a problem, but now I don't even have to manage shields, wtf happened to the difficulty, I understand it's no fun if it's murderously hard, but this is juts TOO easy.

To me, it feels like it went back to the "way too easy" open beta patch. I also noticed all the item values for ships went back to pre-nerf when everyone was also saying it was too easy. I didnt even bother to get and sort of defensive skill, at least not for leveling because 1v4 battleships are still doable.

I agree. It's gotten too easy at the lower levels. I',m seeing higher enemy damage outputs and absorbsion levels now that I'm at LTC1 however.

I recall Cryptic saying that they left levels 1 - 10 at [way too] easy, and there is a shift upwards at level 11. On one of their release notes thingies.

I hope so, I went against 6 BoP's, came out for the better and didnt lose any facing shields. Ite like beating "Simple Jack" at anything. Sure it counts as a victory, but it leaves you pitying the other side.

Hell...if I thought for a moment, as a RL Starfleet Officer [humor me], that BoP were that easy to beat, I'd be invading the Klingon Empire and have them beat before tea.
