Can you Target allies Target?

Is there a keyboard shortcut for targeting the same ship or villain as an ally? Be nice to be able to focus on the same target as my allies? I can do that with Boffs using the target button. How do I do that with live allies?

target your friend, then try to shoot them. you'll shoot their target instead. if this doesn't work, then it needs to be turned on in your options.
