New Player seeking Fleet

HI all! Was hoping I could find a fleet that would help me learn the ropes of the game. I'm a noob in the most literal sense, since I'm not only new to STO but to MMOing in general. But I'm trying my best to improve and learn, since I really really have been enjoying the game so far. Is there a fleet out there that'd be able to help me get better?

You can visit our sto forum thread, has our STO contacts on there. We're not very elaborate, mostly focusing on character and group progression. Mostly, as long as someone has a good attitude in game and on ventrilo that's about all we ask for.

I understand, we are almost all in that boat.

19th Federation Starfleet is currently recruiting members, we have 5 members including 1 ingame arleady. We also have a Ventrilo server, Website, Web Forums, and a community that has had guilds in at least 3 other games including SWG, Secondlife, and Lord of the Rings online. Our group is mainly from the United States, but we have freinds from all over the world. We focus on PvE and light Roleplay. We are also looking for members to help build the Fleet and plan events.

Greetings!

I am Letum Omnis, of TCON (The Consortium). You may wish to give our group a look. We are made up of a group of mature gamers, and are a"family style" group, without any specific time requirements.

We have many helpful folks around who are happy to offer advice, and our forums are loaded with STO information.

We also just topped 68 members on our roster, (Active), and that means you will usually have someone around to answer those questions!

No matter how nice a fleet is, if no one is online, they are not much help!

Just a glimpse of some of the things we can offer:


We are extremely well organized, with command structure, ranks, and advancement in place.
Clearly identified means of promotion within the fleet that corresponds with the in game ranking structure.
Fun, family friendly atmosphere.
NO DRAMA! We have a mature, drama free member base, with strong leadership.
Good size fleet, (over 65 on the roster now, and growing).
Global member base (U.S., UK, NZ), so we typically will have someone on at all times.
Seven (7) year history together in various MMO's, and have accomplished much in our previous MMO's
A nice mix of folks who RP. So if you enjoy that, we can offer it as well.
Close knit group of folks who are willing to go the extra mile to help you out, and make you feel at home.
We have vent, and forums.

Alright. The group that I had joined up with has fairly well been inactive. So I'm looking for a group again. ^_^; I'm a RA 5 Tactical, in an Advanced Escort. I'm not exactly pro at this game, and I'll admit that I'm not used to playing in a group. But if someone is willing to teach me how to play better then I'm willing to give it my best to do so?

Good evening. I hope you will take a moment and consider the Vulcan Kolinahr Fleet. Ours is a small but great (and growing) fleet. We are easy going, dedicated and friendly. We all come from different backgrounds and have different ways of doing things, but that’s part of what makes us great.

Anyone in our fleet is happy to help others when needed, in almost any aspect of the game. We have a fleet Ventrilo server that we use for voice chat not just in-game but also to hang out as well and get to know each other better (not required, just available). Many of us are located on the East Coast (USA) but we do have members scattered across the globe.

Although I say our fleet is dedicated, we also realize that everyone has lives as well, so therefore when you need to take the time, you don't need to be concerned about losing your position within the fleet due to RL. We do not discriminate against such things because we understand ourselves that sometimes real life issues and problems can take time to resolve, and some time is needed to sort things out.

So please think about joining us and move with us into 2409 armed with the best Intel, the most specific and targeted body of knowledge about STO, and a group of Fleet-mates who will be there with you in the crunch.

The Hammerfist Clan is a mature (18+) casual fleet, with an active forum.

We cater to the casual player and we all have many real life responsibilities. So we don't have any crazy requirements for our members.

You can check us out at www.hammerfistclan.com and see if it is the right place for you.

We have some light RP but it is by far not the focus of our fleet. We are pretty open for events and gameplay, which makes it a pleasant experience for those who join.
