unable to find someone

My brother and I have had issues trying to find each other in game, the search function cannot find either of us (I can't find him and vice-versa), unable to use /tell to talk to each other. even thought we are both online, any help?

I assume your popping the @name at the end of tell's/firend requests?

also goto the social...
then i think near last tab search.

In the search box just type the @name or the player name.
When they show up right click and whisper...
then add to friends....

Then you shouldnt have issues at all.
(Its actually what i had to do earlier)
