I was having a problem doing away missions on the planet surface, and the GM told me "tough ****" and that it was beta, and that since i wasnt a lifetime sub i didnt get "premium" help.

I call shenanigans..... Unless you have the entire transcript (as well as what you said), your claim is nothing.

And, if you think it's "funny" to make such an accusation, in public, I honestly hope the forum GM's bring the ban hammer down hard.

Should have immediately screen capped, no doubt in my mind that had you done so that employee would have never done so again.

gms are just underpaid college students or indians with basic english skills who do nothing but look a script of common problems.

they arent lawyers or doctors or in sme cases even knowledgeable at the game

FIrst off, where did you see a GM talk to you ? That didn't happen..

2nd... they wouldn't say "tough" they would say "cookie cutter - sorry for the inconveince insert generic response here"

Lastly, the won't give you more or less support due to the lifetime support. It would be like paying your cable bill for life versus just paying it each month. If you call in for support, you all get the same level of service. It is just a convenience factor for you, period.

So yeah.. this didn't happen...

I highly doubt the GM has access to your billing details to know you're a lifetime subscriber or not. Pretty mudh doubt the whole claim by the OP to be honest.

Obviously, just a troll. He created an account a little over an hour ago, posted 7 messages all complaining about something and even lied about being a lifetime subscriber (he claimed to be in his first thread, but then said the GM told him he didn't count because he wasn't one).

anybody who could possibly believe this is a MORON in my opinion. i had a gm speak with me this afternoon asking about a bug i had posted about being stuck in a system. not ONLY did he treat me with proper respect he asked if i was having any other issues while he was dealing with me.


this in my opinion is not only reason to enjoy this game more i went lifetime. personally threads like this guy posted should be flushed along with his account

I don't recall confirming or agreeing in any way, simply pointed out that he should have screen capped and that if he had the issue would be resolved quickly.

That said, I wouldn't be suprised at all if it were true. He could have been exceptionally rude to the GM and/or the GMs have been forced to work insane hours given all the issues at hand. Hell, the entire GM staff is probebly green as it could be it only stands to reason that there would be a few bad eggs in the bunch at this point.

It really doesnt matter however, as I said he should have screen capped.

Unless you have a Screen Capture, I have to assume you are lying for the purpose of trolling and/or to create a hostile atmosphere between Cryptic and it's customers. Since this is a blatant violation of the ToS in that case, might I suggest the Forum Moderators look into this with the in-game gm who answered his alleged bug report and take the appropriate action; like banning him.

I have witnessed this sort of behavior before with the Lindens (employees of linden labs) - Second life, - but I don't believe that a gm really told you that here

Even if a GM were having a really, really bad day and chose this exact method and time to commit career suicide, I have a real hard time believing that he not only bothered to look up your account, but for that matter that he responded at all on a mission bug, on a day when every GM is probably busy frantically hosing down the servers with fire extinguishers.

Agreed with needing a screenshot before believing this kind of charge. If you're upset with the game why not just lay out your complaint with etiquette and logic instead of this farce? If you had a problem with having to wait in a queue to play fine, some gameplay element fine, but don't spread rumors. I would really stress out if I knew GM and people handling this game were as rude as you claim.

Seriously? So its ok for the guy to get treated like crap because "they have bigger problems"? Your just as bad as all the people telling us that since we signed a EULA that says we have no rights that when we get nothing for the $50 we should be happy.
