Hey all. I stopped by DS9 and while exploring saw a chance to pick up a Ferengi Engineering BO (I know I can at SB24 too).

Anyways, what I'm wondering is do Ferengi and Klingon BO's display correctly?

Also, I'm still unsure how the BO abilities work. My current Engineering BO has emergency power to weapons, and this Ferengi candidate has emergency power to shields. Is there a way to have the Ferengi have both? I know (or am pretty sure) BO's can only have 1 ability at a time, but would I be able to have 1 BO have multiple ones like that and switch between them as I please?

Would love some insight on this, and if someone has a link that explains in a fairly simple way the intricacies of BO and other stuff it'd be greatly appreciated.

I'd like to know this too. I plan on having a full Ferengi Bridge Officer crew at launch.
I hope they show properly.

I have a Klingon tactical officer, and he displays fine. You can customize him as you would a Klingon PvP toon.

Can they wear the ceremonial sash like Worf wore in TNG, or is that something that was just specific to Worf himself?

you can change your BO power all you want with in reason

Here's more or less how it works, in an abridged form:

Each Ship has different officer slots. Let's take my Ushaan Class Escort, for example.

It has one ENSIGN Tactical Officer slot, one LIEUTENANT Tactical officer slot, and one of each Ensign Science/Engineering.

Each BOff can only have one Ensign Space/Away skill at a time. The same goes for Lt. Lt. Commander, etc.

So, if you want to use your Lieutenant BOff skills, that officer HAS to be put in your Lieutenant slot. All my officers are Lieutenants (for the Away mission abilities) but only ONE of my Tactical officers can use her Lieutenant Ability - if I put her in the Lieutenant slot. I'm out of luck as far as my Science and Engineering go, because I don't have respective lieutenant slots for them.

I can switch out my Tacticals in my Lieutenant slot whenever I'm out of combat. It depends on the situation - Cannon Scatter Volley if I'm facing multiple enemies or Target Shield Subsystems if I'm facing one.

Hopefully that makes sense/answers your question.

That helps me some in understanding it, thanks. Besides BO's being limited by what your ship allows let me ask this: Can one of my BO's have a number of space abilities to choose between, or only one that I can choose to replace via training or something? If so does that mean if I want different BO abilities for different situations I'll just need multiple BO's for that class and each with one of the respective abilities I want?
