1) 2 Minute warm-up timer - gives people time to join, cant leave start area untill game starts.
2) Even team numbers.
3) After death, spawn near friendlies. Doesn't have to be right next to them. Look at most FPS games and how you spawn somewhere in the same half or same third of the map that the majority of your own team is in.
4) Add team to open group on zone in.
5) Game Timer - regardless of kill limit game ends after 10 minutes.
6) Ground combat - Less holds and some form of effective hold immunity after a hold, Diminishing returns.
7) Ground combat - set kill limit to 20-25.
8) Space combat - are those ugly warp-in portal gates really needed? They are butt ugly.
9) Fix the team status window so it shows shield status of all members not only the person at the top of the window.
10) - Add your own.
EDIT - I mean its not hard to look at WOW's Warsong Glutch and make a star Trek version.
I know not everyone likes Warsong Glutch but its an example.
Look at Assimilated Cruiser, now add a transporter room at the north and south ends, this is your spawn room. Doors open 60 seconds after the game begins, your team always spawns there. Put a flag in the yellow middle room. JOB DONE. How hard can it be?
