Enemy Federation ships???

Hey all,

I was going through the Cardassian sectors the other day on my way to DS9 and noticed that one of the random space encounters turned and started chasing me. Seeing that I paniced (only lvl 11 lol) but when I looked back I was being chased by a galaxy class ship! :eek:

Why are there enemy Federation ships?? If it has to do with the story just say wait and find out. Don't tell me! :D

Yeah, I went into a war zone battle (forget which one, but it is near the klingon neutral zone), and amidst the ships warping in, appeared an enemy galaxy class federation starship.:confused:

They are Terran Empire ships from the mirror universe. Basically its the opposite of this one.

Think a version of the Federation where the only reason they hail Klingons is to tell them where to stick their distruptors before flattening their cities from orbit.

The mirror universe is seen in several episodes, in atleast 2 of the series.... I still have wet dreams of mirror Hoshi & T'pau (I want those uniforms ingame) :D

Because at that time it was not clear if it was a bug, a misplaced visual... or an intentional plot related use such as renegade Federation or... mirror universe Federation.

Now, the OP and I do not get to enjoy the pleasure of surprise.
I read on because I was hoping someone would simply confirm or deny it being a bug and leave the specifics out... as the OP requested.

1.) Its t'pol, not T'pau.,

2.) Its Terran Federation, not empire. This mirror fed is based of the ds9 mirror verse story. apparently obrien managed quite well. going from one tiny ship and a old card station to having a bunch huge fleets he can send over here to get.. wasted.

I've reached Captain level and so far I've yet to find out how and why the Terran Fed ships are in this universe.
Can someone tell me if it IS explained in a mission and when we get to find out?
