Cruiser - Vor'Cha vs. Negh'Var
 

Random question- as we have no skill to improve the Negh'Var, does anyone feel that, for the time being, a skilled-up Vor'Cha would be superior? Or do you give up too much in terms of officers, etc?

The fact that the question even arises is saddening, nay, pathetic, but it is what it is.

Tac officer skills are broken aswell( ones that need escort and heavy escort) on klingon side..

No, the weapon slot and the additional console slots and the extra shield strength inherent to the negh'var ship will be superior. Also, more engineer boff stations = more rsps. No way t4 is better.

That poster is wrong. You're probably better off using a lower rank ship. There is no skill for Neghvar right now so you cant even upgrade your flying abilities. You get only 1 more useless weapon slot in addition to a device slot and one more eng slot, BUT THERES NO RANK 4 abilities to get, unless you think eject warp plasma is useful (its not).

So basically th Negh'var doesn't offer anything right now useful. I'm using the Carrier until they fix both the tier 4 eng officer abilites AND the skills. Until then there's literally no reason to use that ship.

Epic fail on math and abilities. One more weapon slot = 600+ dps. One more enginerring slot mean one more RSP or Extend Sheilds. since the second slot on vorcha is only luetenant level.

You know you can't put RSP in a rank 4 or rank 1 slot right? Hence, no more RSP. You can still only have 2. Your rear gun spot isn't going to add 600 dps. Epic failure on your part. Now what about the 9 ranks of ship flying?

Except that Vorcha has a BO with 4 Tiers of skills and a second one with 2 Tiers. Negh'Var gets 2 BOs with 4 tiers of skill, thus you get one more T3 BO skill which could be RSP or Extend Shields. Second, a beam weapon in any slot is a beam weapon (with proper skills they do around 600), Negh'Var is perfect for 8 beam set up. Sorry, but you've been had left, right and center.

You might want to check again. I'll wait while you do and look stupid. 2 lower ranked officers != 1 higher ranked one. Anyway, clearly I'm done with you as you've proven you don't know what you're talking about yet continue to try to argue. Goodbye.
