Boosting AUX power seemed to break VM...

As a test I did this three times in a row... Boosted aux power while held by VM and it broke quickly...

Was it a fluke? You try.

Thanks and I will. I normally put my power to shields. Your shields seem to continue to regen, it's just not very effective unless you have a high regen shield. Just my personal experience.

Hmm, check it on Subnucleonic Beam also if you can manage it. Also see if that becomes target AUX vs. source AUX.

Solid confirmation yet?

ive seen a correlation to using emergancy power to x skills just before vm hits

from expermenting i did using any emergancy power to x skill seemed to decrease the chance of vm working on me. it didnt work every time but there was a statistical corrilation with it not working when using those types of skills

i tested with em power to shield and engines and seem to have the same effect

so if your using em power to aux in your testing that may be part of it

So is it using Emergency Power to <anything>, Emergency Power to Aux, or switching to AUX power level preset?

Archived Post 02-12-2010 08:31 PM

for me it was using emergency power to anything

Archived Post 02-12-2010 08:38 PM

do you need to activate the "emergency power to" after VM hits, or if the "emergency power to" is already activated it wards off the VM?

Archived Post 02-12-2010 08:48 PM

for me if i hit an emergance power to skill just before the vm pulse hit me there seemed to be a higher % of the vm failing to take hold
