I know everyone has seen that loading screen what mentions that Data assumed command fo the USS Enterprise-E on whatever stardate. So Data was promoted to Captain correct? What happened to Picard? Did he die? Retire? Just thought someone might know what happened.

in another loading screen, it states that picard became the ambassador to vulcan

He's mentioned in a mission at some point. IIRC it implied he is still alive.

Dont believe i saw that one. Oh well thanks for the input guys. Tell me this. How come WIKI wont let me update Data's profile to show him as the rank of Captain everytime I do 20 minutes later its changed back. >><<

it's in the graphic novel. He's wearing his red jumpsuit and everything. I think he has a painting of spot in the captain's offices to as I recall.

One thing I hate... Temporal paradoxes........ sheesh..... I mean when I try to alter his rank from Lt. Commander to Captain it takes, but like 20 minutes someone re-edits it and changes it back to Lt. Commander
