Creativity on a BO?
So.. bridge officers can't use kits. My question then, is if the "Creativity" trait gives you +x% damage and healing from kits, what is the point?
Are ground devices such as hypos and power cells affected by this trait? If not it seems like a waste of a trait slot. Anyone have any thoughts on this? |
If you mean you have a bridge officer with the creativity trait, I would expect it would apply to their ground powers. Kits and BO powers are the same thing, just differently implemented. For a captain, you get your powers through your kit, but BOs get the same powers through their 4 ground abilities.
There are benefits to doing it this way. As a captain, you could swap kits and try out different powers easier than you can change a BOs abilities. For team play, you could carry multiple kits and use the one that best suits the team you are currently in. |
Hmm, that makes sense. I hope you are right, friend. At the very last they could change the wording when applied to BOs.

As far as I know Engineers don't have access to any stealth items/modules/kits, etc. So would this be a wasted trait for an Eng BO? Another question would be... if I'm a human with +15% repair rate from leadership, if I add another Human to my crew, will those bonuses stack? Also do you only get the space bonuses from seated crew members? i.e. BOs manning a console, or would those buffs apply from members of your crew that are not assigned to a bridge slot, just on the ship? So many questions... |
