Cryptic, remove shield indicator (option)
Hi Cryptic,

Can you please provide us the option to remove the shield indicator (blue circle around the ships) from the screen. I would love to have the ability to see my ship and other ships on a clean view as we do when the ships are not in RED ALERT.

We can still see the shield indicator on the top of the screen when we have a ship targeted, and we can always see our own shield status on the bottom of the screen.

Thank you

I would second that idea... =)

Respond To This Thread!!!
I second this STRONGLY... Those extra blue bubbles are distracting and unneeded and the option to turn them off is a no-brainer, not to mention probably extremely easy to implement.

What's frustrating is that I've seen at least 4 separate posts about this, but they won't get enough attention because no single thread is getting enough responses.

I agree with the OP, however I think the indicators should stay in the game, they just shouldn't show when you use Alt-F12 to hide the UI. I, for one, would consider those bubbles a part of the UI and I'm not sure how you could explain why they're not. This also goes for the ability markers that appear above your ship. (for instance, Engineering team has a rotating engineering icon above your ship). This is also part of the UI IMO, and without taking these out, it's impossible to take respectable screen captures when in combat.

I never even look at them anyway, thats what the HUD is for.
Its just an annoyance because you cant take action screenshots.

A option to turn this off would be great.
