What standard font is closest to the LCARS font?

Hi! What common font would you say is closest to the LCARS font, or, failing that, the most appropriate for Star Trek? I don't want to get involved with downloading new fonts for the program I am using, so what standard font would you suggest someone go with for a Star Trek or LCARS feel?

Many thanks, in advance.

Hi!

Don't know if you got your answer or not. Just in case you're still looking, most people I know (and me) use the Swiss 911 Ultra Compressed BT regular font. It the one that I think is the closest.

Swiss 911 was the daddy to it, so you can easily use it in a pinch.

We would all have it installed for us to see it if you used it.

There's a discussion here: http://www.lcarsc.com/showthread.php...-Font-Tutorial The website http://www.lcarsc.com has a bunch of stuff, so if the first link doesn't appeal to you you can always ask in the forums.
