A stepping stone towards more regular spaceflight. Truly brilliant. We live in a time in which glorious wonders surround us in such vast measure.

The geek in me is laughing hysterically, gonna have to put the beat down on him for awhile. Just ignore the screaming and muffled shouts folks. Nice to see!

They didn't go into space.

I'm not impressed until they go into space.

Make it happen, Branson!

The ball is still rolling. Its a small step, but well..you get the idea.

The Space Shuttle Enterprise did not fly into space, but I remember being on the Bridge in Cocoa Florida when the 747 flew over and humming the theme song from Star Trek. I think I cried then. While I relaize that this is just a simple first step, I want with all my heart for commercial business to take the lead on space travel. Bring on the Horizon!

they are going to spend 10 minutes in their idea of space. IMO you are not in space till you leave the gravity well of the planet. Its like standing on a beach with water up to your ankles and saying you are sailing the ocean.

I saw the Enterprise on it's carrier in Atlanta during a fuel stop. I think I was like 5 or 6 (1977 or 1978) at the time, but it was still awesome. The old girl is resting comfortably and looking good at the National Air & Space museum Annex at Dulles International Airport near DC
