Well quit breaking the game, woman! :(

You need to figure it out fast, you're missing a helluva dance party.

Where nobody's dancing. But still...

/comfort I had some latency issues but no crashes... hopefully it'll clear up soon. Try updating drivers of various hardware on your computer?

do you crash right away after logging in, or just randomly when you're out and about?

I ask because I was having the same problem. When I last logged out, I was at the costume vendor. When I logged back in, the vendor was swarmed by other players. I was eventually able to get away from the area after a couple attempts.

Just a thought...

Good luck!

Things to try:

Check your firewall, make sure it's not being cranky and not permitting STO to launch. Mine always asks me for permission to launch it and won't let me connect until I authorize it.

Update drivers, specifically video card...go to your control panel and find the option called device manager. It will give you the option to update stuff there. If you have a Mac....just wait for someone more knowledgeable to come along because I try not to associate with them lol.

Wait and chat on the forums...it might just be a connectivity issue.

Thankfully I've been busy all day, so I haven't had to put up with it too much.

Just go to Windows Update and hope they find newer drivers for your hardwares. Unless you use Mac, then throw it out the nearest open window and buy a PC? :D
