Just how many Reman troops do I have ot fight to reach Level 3?

I reach the hallway to the door, troops appear. Kill them.
Approach the door, troops appear. Kill them.
Try to open the door, which I can't, troops appear. Kill them.
Try again, can't, get a message from Taris, troops appear. Kill them.
Try again, still can't open the door, no message this time, troops appear. Kill them.
Repeat that last step ad nauseum.

Am I missing something?

A lot.

Then a Boss, the Reman Captain, shows up and when you beat him you can continue.

How do you get passed the Reman captain? I get my butt handed to me everytime. :confused:

You bring friends. That's how I did the mission. Got 1 person to join me and we completed it in 10 min or so.

Get your away team to concentrate fire on him. Try to get DoTs (plasma grenades and thermal vent) on him. Interrupt attacks (knockdowns and stuns) also help.
