DPS number consistency

Hi,
When in the store and when looking at my inventory, or even the weapons mounted to my ship, the DPS number is -- for lack of a better word -- a 'stock' number. However, when I bring my mouse over the button to actually fire that weapon it shows the number with my various skill points and consoles buffing those weapons (in my case phasers and photon torps).

It'd be nice to have this number be consistent across all views. So even if I'm looking at the item on the Exchange I can know how much true DPS it will dispense given my existing ship and skill point load out easily.
