Keep the Admiral Ranks as a "Level" Indicator, remove Admiral from the game RP/story

I don't mind the use of ranks like Captain, Admiral, etc. as level indicators, but IN the game when the characters call you "Admiral" its ridiculous especially given the # of players who are Admiral-level. In our Fleet I am the "Fleet Admiral" and there have been a few times I say to someone "Congratulations, Captain!" (because they command a starship, of course) and they reply "No, it's Admiral!!!" and I role my eyes and try to explain that there is no way the entire Fleet would be composed of Admirals in real life.

Please, Cryptic, remove "Admiral" as something the NPC's say to you... just calling you "Captain" works because you are Captaining a starship regardless of your rank - and just consider Lieutenant/Captain/Admiral, etc. indications of level gameplay-wise, not story-wise.

i found it actually funny that admiral is used this early in the game. to make it worse for a long time now i'm going to be called admiral. i miss my lower grade and ranks

Real life isn't that much different, in the royal navy theres a rear admiral on nearly every ship, in same cases theres 2 admirals on a ship, they also have 221 captains and 831 commanders

this isn't real life tho. and not even related to startrek or starfleet apart from rank names

Judging by the majority of things people say, they don't bother to read anyway so why bother?
