Are Retrofit ships ingame items or C-Store items? Because to me it looks like: Retrofit ships are C-Store ships that you get a free token for in game and can also use emblems to get. So are they C-Store ships? or ingame ships? I also though the C-Store was for only Cosmetic items? :confused:

they are both avalaible in game(for one character using the free token or by grinding a lot) and in the C store (for all your characters)

I believe Cryptic is entitled to change their rules at any time... so the lastest one about the C store is not being only cosmetic anymore but rather you can now buy an item in the C store equivalent from something in game as an alternative.

(Sorry, but for some reason I thought of that old SNL skit when I read this thread, heh.)

I just dont understand why they didn't do retrofits the normal way... You pay energy credits to get ships. I feel that they are trying to grub more money off us by this. I have been fine with all the other C-Store stuff (Including the Threadnought :p) but this is different. I see that you can still get the ships my grinding, but OMG how much grind will it take to get 500 emblems. If you don't want to grind, pay. That doesn't seen right to me.:(

As for how long it would take to get 500 emblems, I think it's around 56 days or so. (I seem to remember someone mentioning that you can earn up to 9 emblems a day, and 500/9 = 55.55555. So, 56 days.) I haven't been keeping up with the emblems and VA dailies other than the Tribble forums, so the 9 per day may be way off or changed by now. *le shrug*

I'm just glad the only one I want is the Intrepid one (I might get a Galaxy one when I get around to leveling my Ferengi Engineer up, but I haven't done anything with him except the tutorial, so he's got a long way to go before VA, lol.).

Heh, I'm glad someone had a good laugh about it (especially you, since it's your thread and all). I definitely didn't mean it as an insult or anything; it's actually one of my favorite "Not Ready for Primetime Players" SNL sketches (that, and the Samurai ones, especially Samurai Delicatessen, lol.)

56 days is a long time. I LOLed because a lot of people here are doom and gloom i'm just trying to express my opinion, and give some feedback. Thanks for all the reply's all
