Proposal: Race change
 

Hello!

If you (Cryptic) want to offer more special services, please think about a race change!

Its (for me) the last wish for a overall new character design... For example... my character is a human and i'am bored of this race. I have become with my digital download version of STO the "Joined Trill" race. this race looks pretty and have awesome race bonusses.

Just a proposal for the future :)

It´s actually the 345.657th proposal for species respec. Maybe try to find a thread on a topic before posting a new one. Just a hint. :)

Race change? I don't understand this proposal... is this a joke? How can one of our character's race change during his/her career? :confused:

Yes why not able to change race?

In many other mmorpgs you have this server available to.

Why always play the same race and not to try other?
I dont want pay 500 cryptic points to become 2 additional character slots.

This is a easy reason to become the option, to play other races without leveling a new one or buying 2 extra additional character slots.

Not everyone RPs.

I would love to see race changes and Im sure would be a huge C-Store seller.

I would also back profession changes that would also be a huge c-store hit.

I bought everything in the c-store but the races. If you allowed for is i would not only buy the re-race option, but also a bunch of races. I don't have the time to play all day and level new toons up. If i can redo just the race, this would be awesome, not to mention the class I really wanted (Ferengi) wasn't available when i created my toon.

There are a lot of reasons why people would want to, just set a price and offer it.

There are countless ways you can explain it in RP. Star Trek did with spacial anomalies what comics did with magic and radiation. Picard was turned into a kid wasn't he? the crew was turned into various species weren't they?

RP can explain away nearly every meta change we can do

There were some races not available at the launch, and some people (including me) would much more prefer to play one of the races people can buy (including me), instead of leveling a 6th ot 7th toon.

changing race would be a good cstore thing.

changing profession would not tho, there has to be SOME incentive to run alts :)
