Slash Command Help

Anyone know what the slash command is to change the camera to "chase" and to "follow target"?

I too am dying to know this. I have been desperately searching for some kind of keyboard-driven mechanism for camera control. There is a default (x?) that locks the camera (which i guess could be usefull?) and a shortcut you can set to "reset" the camera to a vaguely chase-position, but one that doesn't actually chase...

It would be utterly fantastic to be able to switch camera modes without having to drive through 3 GUI layers and 5 tabs to pick which camera I need. :)

No promises but maybe you can find what you are looking for in this list: http://www.champions-online-wiki.com...e_Command_List

Basically it is for CO but same engine = (more or less) same command list.

Thanks for the info - a few of those commands look promising! I'll let you know if they work

Outstanding! While not in the link above, it pointed me in the right direction, thank you! :)

I found a set of keybinds from this post: http://www.startrekonline.com/node/1800

The one I'm using is: camToggleChaseCam

with my default camera behavior set to "follow target" in the options menu, I can tap C (my keybind) and switch to the chase camera view. Tap it again, and I'm back to Follow target. Exactly what I wanted!

For newbs like me who had to figure out the keybind syntax enter the following in the chat window:
/bind c camToggleChaseCam

Cheers!

FYI, there is already a default toggle key, "X". If you go into (under space controls) options->controls->camera type, and switch it to "chase." When you do that, it'll default to chase cam, and you hit the "X" key to toggle between chase and follow enemy/free cam.

Really? I tried that when I first looked through the controls and saw it, but the behavior was different. It would lock/unlock the camera for me. Maybe i had something else messed up - a distinct possablility

The free cam/target cam are combined. When I toggle off of chase cam and don't have anything toggled, it is free. When I target something, the camera locks to that target.

Be sure when you reset the controls in options that you hit "okay" at the bottom before closing out. That was something I overlooked early on.
