Galaxy X Phaser Lance suggestion
 
Given as this is the ship's special feature, I think its cooldown needs reduced, as its far too long. 2 minutes between shots is a real handicap considering the bonus DPS a 4th rear beam could put out. Also, a weapon of this magnitude would surely have its own capacitor, meaning it really shouldn't drain 50 weapon power when activated like Beam Overload does.

I thought it was 3 minutes? Was it reduced to 2?

It's 2 minutes, but that's still way too long.

Considering the Galaxy X is the Enterprise from All good things, When you watch it fire the lance you see it firing like any other Phaser beam with a few seconds cool down, and seriously ive managed to squeeze the lance upto roughly... 13k DPS but its still 50% damage per shot.

Personally i find they maybe need to re-do most of the Galaxy X but the lance timer needs to be decreased to 30-60 seconds since it is possible to actually... Miss the shot with the lance.

Yeah, I agree completely. Its just not worth an entire weapon slot. I've already got a thread in the cruiser discussion. Pitch your ideas in there, and I'll pester Cryptic until they acknowledge its weak and arrange to fix it :)

I've pulled off some crazy shots with it before, like last night I nailed a cruiser for a double crit of 25k... instapop... but those crits are few and far between.

Oh, and it is a 3 minute cooldown, the timer just says 2 minutes but waits 1 minute before counting down.
