Shield Indicator
 
Hi everyone,

Here is a simple question. I've looked and looked and i decided to ask here.
The shield indicator around your ship, the annoying little circle that appears when you are in combat.

How do you turn it off?

Under the Basic tab in Options the first choice should have to do with Shield FXs. Turn it off to shut off the shield circles.

I thought that controlled the shields flaring up a the impact point?
EDIT: Nevermind. I just checked it and the previous poster was right

youll see your shields taking hits, just not the rings of tarditude that should never have been on by default!
