Making contacts dissapear and other Qs
 
Is there currently a way to make a contact dissappear? i.e. beam out, cloak, go to warp etc. after you reach a marker or speak to the contact?

Also, how do you set the text so that it will refer to your player by the appropriate rank and theplayer ship by its name?

Oh and in one of my missions the minimap goes black on one ground map. Any idea what causes this and how to fix it?

No I don't think you can make a contact disappear or even set animations for a contact yet.

There are text tags you can use like [name] to have it say the character name. Check the foundry tutorial walkthrough because it lists them all.

If you look in the release info it says some maps like starbase 24 has no minimap which is a known error.

Right now the options for contacts are pretty limited compared to animations for group npcs, which do have a beam out animation. I'd expect that something like this is coming.
