Elite Difficulty
I've played a few missions now and it seems that any npcs that I encounter that carry heavy weapons, specifically full auto assualt weapons and compression pistols are achieving the one-shot-kill effect (frequently this is found on some of the exploration missions in holodeck) when playing the UGC missions on elite difficulty. Also, I'm not sure if it's a thematic element added by the authors or a missing tool, but it seems that I am not allowed to select my away team when beaming down to ground components and the team selected is not the team placed in my default away team on the assignments tab.
