Cutting the Cord and Spiderman
In "Cutting the Cord", Hakeev (and his minions) must be either part "Spiderman" or part "Six Million Dollar Man". During the fight, Hakeev is jumping all over the place and winds up dying on a ledge above me where my character cannot reach him to fullfill the objective "Check Hakeev".
This is a show stopper! So I chalk it up to "bad luck" and beam out of the mission, knowing full well I'm going to have to repeat the process all over again. So after fullfilling all the objectives (AGAIN), I get to Hakeev and.........he winds up dying again on a ledge where I cannot reach him.
This is the GM response---
"Hello, Thank you for contacting customer support. This may be best resolved by restarting the current stage of your mission. Please note you will only lose progress for this stage of the mission. To restart the current stage of a mission: 1) Leave the map that you are currently on & return to sector space via the Abort Mission/Depart System/Beam to Ship button on your mini-map 2) Once you are back in sector space please wait at least 15 minutes for the instance of your mission to reset. (All team mates must also be outside the instance in order to reset it.) 3) Once 15 minutes has passed return to the mission entrance. Click on the "Continue: ..." button to return to your mission. 4) You should now be at the beginning of this mission stage and can continue normally. If you experience further issues completing this mission, please edit this ticket with any additional information that will assist in helping you. Thank you for playing!"
So, their BEST SOLUTION to this issue is to wait 15 minutes and restart the mission! I really like STO, and I think the Devs have made tremendous and remarkable progress over the last year. Futhermore, I really like the weekly episodes, as they truly have a Star Trek feel to them. However, lackluster (ingame) support will drive me away from a game just as fast as anything else.
