Is there a way of making the camera shake?

No. Not right now the Foundry doesn't offer this. Doesn't hurt to ask though.

yes... you can create a camera shake by placing certain objects close to the player... try the energy ball...

I can add a volume object to the Foundry that will make the camera shake when the player enters it. It will be similar to the camera shake you get when you fly into a planet (minus the white-out effect).

By this do you mean we could use it in a certain radius or it would apply the effect to the whole map? Is there a way to tie this to a trigger? Make it start/stop like a 5 second or 2 second shake to simulate weapon's fire or something?

Oddly, I was just watching Star Trek: Generations on Syfy channel, and the scene where the Enterprise-B is getting hit by the nexus was on...not important - but it got me thinking if there could be a way to make bridges and interiors shake in the Foundry, as if the ship was getting hit.

In other words: Mapolis would be great if that volume object you mentioned could work for all maps - ground, interior and space. If it's not too much trouble that is.

Please add for space AND ground.

I haven't been over to tribble in a while to check.. but do we yet have a "area effect" (radiation zone, etc) that raises red alert (thus slowing the ship?)

It will be an FX object like the other particle effects in the library, so you can use it with triggers. It will also work on a fixed radius so you can just have specific parts of the map shake. I think I can even make the camera shake ramp up as you get to the center of the volume.

And yes, it will be available for all map types :)
