Accuracy or damage for my Phasers?
 

Ok pretty simple. About to upgrade my 6 mk x phaser beam arrays (Acc) (CritH) (CritD) for some fancy mk xi ones. The mk xi ones come in 2 different forms: (Acc) (Dmg) and (CritD) and the other is (Dmgx2) (CritD). Which set is better for a tank/dps assault cruiser/eng capt? Basically is accuracy really important with beams or is the double damage better?

Oh and same applies for my 2 quantums. (Acc) (Dmg) or (Dmgx2)?

If you PVP, you will want accuracy.

I do like to pvp but am working on getting a better build so accuracy is good then. I heard it also helps your crits?

there's no way in hell i would pay 30 emblems for a mk xi weapon, when i could pay 7 marks for mk x, not enough of an upgrade. im a big fan of the crit boosting bonuses myself

Well I'm about to hit my 500 day vet rewards so I'll get 250 emblems. Might as well use them

I prefer accuracy myself. The other bonuses are nice, but only if they hit the target. So I think that the accuracy rating plays an important role in this choice.

That's what I'm leaning towards too. Well now one last question should I keep my mk x purples or go for mk xi purples? Are they really worth it?

If you are a Tactical Officer, Accuracy FTW. You will get even more Critical Hits.

i have a hard time caring about mk XI when its going to be obsolete itself after level cap increases again. buying off the exchange is one thing, but 30 emblems is just to much. unless you grind for maximum emblems a day
