Delta Flyer missing its extendable Nacelle

Okay i know this may not seem very important but should the delta flyer have an extendable warp Nacelle when if goes to warp.

The second one never demonstrated it, though, and I believe that's the one they're going off of. The upgraded model, so to speak.

Are you sure about that, because i seem to recall in Homestead episode it does extend its nacelle

It is one detail that I'd find very cool to see on the Delta class shuttle.

If they just wanted it to be 'inspired' from the delta Flyer, they might've well just done the Edison (which I also want).

I saw this one not long ago. I didn't see it extend its warp nacelles, but it did show off it's pop-out impulse thrusters if I remember right. The second Flyer had fixed nacelles (seen well here), but did have two extendable impulse engines on each side.

i'm prty sure the second DF never extended its nacelles, and seeing as it was newer we can assume its the better one

Pulled from Memory Alpha:

Quote:

Both versions of the Delta Flyer featured retractable warp nacelles, but while the first version only featured a standard impulse drive, the second version employed retractable impulse thrusters that greatly increased the vessel's impulse speed when deployed.

i say the Delta Flyer should be able to do both.

it was the same CGI model, only because they were inconsistent again in it's functions doesn't mean that it wasn't designed that way.

-> go to warp: extend warp nacelles, redact impulse engines
-> go to impulse: redact warp nacelles, extend impulse engines

that'd be cool

I have to agree with Z3R0B4NG they should add both to it.
