review my Tac setup, plz

Here's my skills: http://skillplanner.stoacademy.com/?build=GhanjRho_640

My weapons are a Disruptor DHC, a phaser DHC, quantum torpedo launcher, and phaser turret.

My consoles are a RCS, prefire chamber, halon system, and phaser relay

2 suggestions:
Take an EPS conduit instead of the RCS.
Get rid of the Disruptor and use another Phaser DHC and use 2 Phaser Relays.

Why should I use an EPS? And as soon as i can find a Mark III [Dmg] Phaser DHC or better, I will change my weapon.

I'll second this. Also drop halon system for bio-function monitor.

EPS is for recovering power levels. As when they are drained from firing very big cannons ordropping out of full impulse.

Mixing weapon types can get costly in skill points (I know you are planning to get a phaser when you get one). I also rarely go over a 7 on any of the first two tiers of skills. The last 2 levels don't give you much bang for your buck.

I'll also second the EPS and Biofunction montitor consoles for an escort. The large power drain from the cannons is an issue, and with the small crews in escorts you need to keep them as healthy as possible. It's not like escorts have abundant hull points lying around.

I thought the EPS conduits don´t help with weapon drain, at least they shouldn´t.

I don't really have any problems with weapons drain is the thing regarding EPS. I'll pick up a biosystems console soon, i do lose crew at an almost unfunny rate. At the moment, i'm fine shooting rainbows because I can't yet skill into damage types.

They don't help with drain, just recovery.

Because when you reduce speed from full impulse to your attack velocity you dont have to wait 10 seconds for your weapon power to raise to 115 again. (should be 115 on a LtCmdr escort right)

Power drain shouldnt be an issue with only 2 DHC´s and a turret.
