Shields vs. Burst question
 

OK.... Been away for awhile and only had a chance to pop in for a few arenas. While I feel that my little squishy refit Tac. Escort takes a beating pretty well her burst seems to be suffering. Is it an OP'd healz thing or has there been a burst nerf?

Dont see a difference in burst damage. Covariant got a small nerf to its capacity, and regen shields got a small buff. Other than that, my only thought is that I seem to notice more ppl running high shield mitigation with tac teams, EptS, and TSS. Science is a big help with the ability to work around the resistances to give escorts a window to do their thing.

burst is kinda money right now. as fallout has mentioned, covaiant nerf = some shiled you preiviously has to get thru is no longer there. capitalize on that strength... the game will change again soon enough as players adapt their builds.

Tactical team helps to defend against Bursts. So if you weren't here for that Fix, that might be what's happening.

And yes, Covariant shields were reduced in capacity, while Regeneration shields were given a buff.
