MVAM with Prometeus sister classes

I like the Prometheus but I am wondering if the MVAM is usable in her sister classes. I like the Cerberus saucer hull and am curious if the MVAM work with a Promethues secondary hull and Cerberus Saucer, Pylon and Nacheles.

Yeah I used MVAM on the original Promie, (at least it worked before season 4), and again on the new Promie with a mix of the sister ship parts so it should not be an issue, (after season 4).

Thanks that is great to know in the future when I become an Admiral

Not only that, but each of the three sections can have its skin selected separately. So you can have a Cerberus Saucer with a Prometheus Beta Section and Haphaestus Gamma Section. And the Haphaestus Gamma Section really looks nasty, IMHO. :D I don't know if this was true pre-MVAM implementation, but it is true now. (BTW, that is my own ship's combination)

Amusingly, I guess that means that if you have three Advanced Escorts, and they each get two of their three sections blown up, the remaining section from each could unite into one ship, as long as there's an Alpha, Beta, and Gamma.

Unfortunately some of the MVAM segments revert to their default Prometeus models while re-assembling the ship -- I guess the Cryptic's dev team had to take a few short cuts. Otherwise both MVAM sci and tactical versions work extremely well.

wait Sci and tactical does that mean Engineer don't get MVAM?

no - that does mean that u can use any costume parts with mvam, only in the reassembling animation it will show the original parts - just a graphics issue.

currently EVERY captain (tac/eng/sci) can fly EVERY avaliable ship

anyone have pics of the other skins separated? would love to see the Heph all split up

oh and just to check, when you buy a MVAM, you get the prommie skin...now can you change that skin or do you have to add the MVAM skill to an AE?

The MVAM Escort has every skin the Advanced Escort has. Prometheus, Cerberus, and Phoenix. If you bought it, you get the Heph as well.

That is the second time I've seen that question, and hopefully this time I will get around to answering it. Yes, I have some screenshots of all variants separated, and I'll try to get around to posting them. :D

When you purchase the MVAM in the C-Store, you get a complete ship, with a slightly different BO arrangement from the RA level ship. (Both are Tier 5, but one's RA and one's VA) This ship, like the original, is bought with Prometheus selected, but you can go into the tailor and select either Cerberus or Phoenix.

The Hephaestus skin must be bought from the C-store, but it is then, (AFAIK) available to both.
