How long do we have to level up are character on the new Tribble? Because I do not have as much time to play as others and before I put in a lot of time and come up short would make me so mad.

But If I have an idea of about how long I have then I know if i can do it or not....

I love to get the level 51 awards.. Anyways If Cryptic could answer my ? I am sure it help more then just me LOL anyways thanks.:D

From the sounds of things in the dev blog, we have until the F2P launch on holodeck, which doesn't have a hard date yet. They'll open up character copy later, but if you want the best reward you'll have to stay with your new character instead.

I would say you have at a minimum of about 2-3 weeks but most likely a fair bit more. (maybe launch or close too)

The reason is they have said that you cannot port over your character to get this reward but they also said you will not able to port over your character for several weeks. So that statement in itself says they are overlapping and you can still lvl for the reward after being able to bring characters to tribble.

Might it become a possible issue that if Too many Bugs turn up, that there may at some point need to be a player wipe if serious code problems arise? I would hope that would not be the case, but after all, it is a Test Server.

Wipes usually only happen when how data is saved is changed and other similar huge codes changes like that. Because the save files that they have are no longer compatible.

Just normal bugs no matter how extensive rarely would cause a wipe.

Anything is possible, but there doesn't seem to be all that much that they're doing structurally that should cause that. Also, since wipes are almost always a matter of ease and convenience instead of necessity, one would hope they considered that before offering a reward for leveling up. More likely bad thing would be some characters becoming too corrupted though some bad code to continue being played, and hopefully that doesn't happen.
