I preordered it. I've played all the BF series games. There's nothing quite like a war game for pvp.

It's strategy games for me. STO is my 1st MMO and 1st online PvP experience (High-speed availability where I live and the release of STO were only days apart). I absolutely love it. The optimist (and Trek Fan) in me is looking at everything becoming OP and sees a new baseline being established. But the realist in me sees P2W everywhere. The optimist is still winning, but not by much. Right now, I think I'll at least hold out until we're a few bug-fixes deep into F2P (subject to Rage flip-flopping). If they totally destroy it, I'll get back to building Structures, Units and Vehicles and using them to annihilate my enemies :)

Hope you can find a little optimist in you too... granted, that is probably why you have stuck it out this long, with the rest of us.

i need to blow stuff up at a faster pace. BF/CoD/WoT are all great games taht are up my alley. Best experience I ever had was the origional BF 1942 mods. Desert Combat etc.

CoD is a favorite of mine, but didn't have the PvP option when I was playing it, no high-speed (see above). It might be fun to give it a try. Maybe I need to pick up BO...

I CANT WAIT for BF3 it looks too good :D
