Reclaiming a VA with the 600 day token?

So a while ago, long before 600 days or active gaming, i hit VA. I used my free VA token to buy the Defiant retrofit. It was awesome. Then a while later, they announced the Sau Paulo coming which in short... was supposed to be awesome. New awesome interior, new awesome quad cannon, new awesome Tactical escort look and feel. Then after another while later, it finally arrived. and i bought it. But i needed to clear some space for it. Since it was a tactical escort i figured i didn't need two so i removed the Defiant. The issue is though that one is a Retrofit, and the other a Refit. the Sau Paulo, while able to cloak on the show, sadly couldn't cloak in game. Why make Cloaking a console if no other ship can use it other than one that already cloaks? that makes no sense....

Any way i dismissed it only to be disappointed at the ship as well as it's cannons. But then i hear they fixed the bug for reclaiming ships! but sadly it only applies to reclaiming ships purchased, not earned. But then i thought, hey, isn't the 600 day veteran reward a VA ship token? Why can't i use this? Why are the players that have been in and Loyal since launch being shortchanged not only the 500 day vet reward, but also now the 600 day vet reward? For what? just because we hit VA before you decided to change the VA ships to C-store only? Why is no one else mad that we're getting the short end on 2 different veteran rewards?

Please tell me i'm wrong, please tell me that i can still reclaim a ship i've earned without C-points or that i can use the 600 day vet reward to get it. If any one else is having this issue, feel free to vent here.

1) The cloaking device does work on another ship - the Dreadnaught Cruiser, not just the Defiant Retrofit.
2) It was made a console to be more consistent with the other changes, and to allow the possible development of future ships that could use it.
3) As the Sao Paulo is a Captain level ship (same as the regular Defiant class, which cannot cloak), and once purchased, you can use the Sao Paulo appearance on the retrofit Defiant, the console cannot be equipped on the lower tier ships.
4) A token isn't a purchase. VA token ships once discharged, have never been able to be reclaimed.
5) The 600 day reward was specifically noted that you only got it IF you did not already get a token before. In short, only one VA token per character at most, and since you used yours, you definitely won't be getting another one, sorry.

1) i wasn't saying there were no other ships that could use it, just that it seemed silly to make it a console when any ship that COULD use it already had one.

2) Any future ships that can cloak will most likely come with that console again making it useless as a console unless it grants an extra slot.

3) this was clearly stupid on my part as i didnt read the description well enough, i admit that.

4+5) I know, but in recent posts they've mentioned that they've fixed the ability to reclaim discharged ships, i hadn't seen any reference to C-store points or not, and yes, i know about the stipulation of the 600 day reward and frankly i'm a little upset about it. Why bother making it a veteran reward if no one can use it if they've been in the game almost two years? The second paragraph even mentions this being the case and how it's not right to basically give a reward that most people can't even use.

I'm just shocked that it seems only now that people are seeing something wrong and posts are popping up about "hey, where's my 600 day reward?" Just wait until the people who missed out on the 500 day emblems find out they're not getting a 600 day reward either....

I don't remember the exact wording, but when they talked about the ability to reclaim ships again, it seemed pretty clear to me they were only referencing C-Store purchases of ships.

While I could be wrong about that, I really don't think that's the case.

The VA token is a veteran reward, you need to be subscribed for 600 days. After that it should be automatically applied to you account and every one of you characters.

It used to be for every character but that's been changed for F2P

This has already been answered in your own thread, but just to clear it up for everyone (not you specifically):

1: Chars that reached VA BEFORE season 5 got a VA tolken.
2: Chars that reach VA AFTER Season 5 do not... regardless when they were created.
3: Currently only by being a 600-day VET, will you be able to recive VA tolkens for your chars.
4: Currently the 600-day vet reward is either bugged, or not activated, hence chars will not recive a tolken.
5: Regardless if it is bugged, or not in, eventually 600 day Vets will recive their VA tolken, unless...
6: ... the char in question has already recived (spend or not) a VA tolken.

And, on a small notice: The Sau Paulo shown in DS9 did not have a cloak... Only the Defiant did, and it is unlikely that the Romulans would have supplied the federation with another Cloak, since they weren't too happy with how the cost/reward the original loan turned out.

That's where I have the problem. Why make it a reward if most people can't use it? It seems a little unfair, especially to those who missed out on the 250 emblems. But why punish people for loyalty to a game just because you decide to take away something they should be getting for free?

As for the say Paulo, for some reason I thought it had a cloak still but that's a good point as to why it didn't.
