Hi everyone - Long time reader, first time poster. I am back loving STO after a half-year absence.

Regarding the exchange (and I guess other venders as well), are we able to see what an item looks like when equipped before buying it?

I remember being able to preview what items look like, before buying them, on the exchange. Perhaps my memory is warped.

I don't think you could ever preview the appearance before you bought something before... but this would something nice Cryptic could implement.

Correct. If this feature existed they wouldn't have taken it out unless it was completely broken. I've been playing since launch and I don't remember ever having this feature.

Do you mena when you hover over the item and it gives you its stats, just like when you hover over an item in your inventory?
