The Sisko Busted
 

Brooks has been caught driving while under the influence. For those of you who have seen Shatner's "The Captains" I have one question, how could the police tell? Sober Brooks is a little loopy.

Yeah, I kept thinking Brooks was stoned or something in "The Captains". Actually, "hoping" might be a better word. :)

I had seen him in some other interviews besides "The Captains" and yeah, he seemed like a quirky fellow. Guess we won't be getting any Sisko voice-overs any time soon. :o

Meh. Why is this news? He's human, just like every other actor to have played a Star Trek character.

He's a person of interest. Also, anyone who has seen him outside of DS9 has to have wondered what's the difference between drunk Brooks and sober Brooks.

Well, it's just that it's such a stupid and thoughtless crime that endangers not just yourself, but those around you.

It's just dissapointing when it's committed by someone you respect. I like Brooks, and continue to do so. Also, there really isn't an exhaugstive explanation of why how and what happened. But at first blush, it's still vexing when someone you invest some measure of respect or admiration seems to do something so reckless and putting other people in potential harm.

I've seen several interviews and frankly, the guy seems permanently high. Drinking and driving? Hell with that guy. :/

I like to remember Brook/Sisko from the old DS9 days. Watching some clips recently made be cringe. He is really 'out there' right now isn't he :cool:

I shall remember him as the man who had the chutzpah to sucker punch Q.

in all seriousness it is a rather serious issue (assuming its all true as reported) as peoples can and do die from these incidents. hopefully he has learned his lesson and wont be doing it again.
