What happened to Hakaishin's Dreadnought thread?
I can't find it from a search, and the skill planner build I had bookmarked appears to be deleted.

I'm not talking about the one with the title "Since I'm consistently asked", I'm talking about the one with his pvp video in it. If anyone finds it please post.

Hakaishin, if you removed it for a reason, and if it's not too much trouble, please could you PM me? No problem if you don't want to, but I was planning on something similar when I hit VA, which should be in the next couple days.

Thanks. :)

I read somewhere that he got banned but not sure if its true or not.

Anyways, here is the link to his build I book marked (still working). Hope it helps.

and YouTube

I don't have his equipment but I remember him having either MACO or AEGIS.
As for weapons, he had [Acc]x3 phasers.

This post basically explains what happened.

well thats a bit of a "four letter word" move on the side of the trolls and a massive over reaction on Hakalsin's side

I understand the frustration but picking up your ball and going home isnt the most mature way to handle your issues with certain members of the forum community.

OFC the PVP community want to keep there secrets when it comes to popping shield and devastating in burst damage and Hakalsin's posts and guide's took that little click of elitism away from them by assuring that even a new player with a little effort in STF's could walk into PVP and stand a chance putting them far further along the learning curve than they "should" be.

Is mass trolling acceptable? no its simply not especially in the case of the youtube vids, this should have been flagged and stopped by the forum mods within moments rather than let it get to this level.
As a community we are supposed to be better than this, yes pvp is going to be competitive and at times downright stupidly so when a real rivalry are forged but there is such a thing as sportsmanship even in the virtual forum.

Im not namby pamby enough to believe winnign isnt important, winning in life IS everything, its what we as a species are bred and designed for, we win or we die, this is our primal drive but dragging it on after a win or a loss can make you look pathetic and needy.

you win great fantastic, taker that feeling into the next game and do your best to win again.

you lose, deal with it, try harder and if you think its unfair that you lost you only really have yourself to blame, loosing sucks yes but loosing and learning nothing from it is Darwinism in action. Evolve adapt and overcome, upgrade your gear and more importantly upgrade your skills, if you cant beat somebody alone team up and hunt them down as a team but if they are a real player be warned because it is only a matter of time before they learn to counter your teamwork and then its simply back to you and your skill or lack there off.

leave the compaitiion in the battlefield, leave your angst outside the forum, if you are unwilling to be beaten by a girl then don't play, don't hate the player, admire there skill and learn from them. In Hakalsin's case she made this easy for you, she offered up her full loadout for you to learn from and learn to counter some idiot forgot this with this campaign of hatred and will simply have to go in blind against the 12th fleet ...

...and now so do the rest of us...

Thanks to the posters here and of course Hakaishin. The thread got cleared the same day I was about to re-do my build. It was quite saddening. I look forward to playing around with this.

It's not like we're seeing many new Escorts, so I am treating the Galaxy-X as a new ship (though I've had it in Dry Dock for a year+).
