Whatever happened to Android gender and career options?

Last I heard they wanted to add all options into the Boff vendor. But it's been a while and now the matter seems to be forgotten.

Does anyone know more?

Last word I saw was that the color on the uniforms was the only thing preventing them from releasing it.

That was a month ago.

Guess they are still discussing the pros and cons of using F15 instead of F16 as "science" color.

What is bugging me, is that "if it is that big of a problem, why not just make it grey"?

I'm sure it has to do with canon colors and CBS licensing.

What on Earth (or QuoŽnos for that matter) could be so hard about switching uniform colors ?

Engineers are pretty much the least desirable specialty anyway, most people use the Borg BOff already. I have no use for that Android as it is except on my engineering characters, who each use two engineers on their away team... :o

I wonder if the female versions are supposed to have some different facial cyber-wirey bits that they're still working on, and/or if the "uniform colors" apply to the highlighted colors of the exposed wiring/mechanical bits as well as the "uniforms"...

Uncertain and totally false rumors state they are busy getting the likeness rights for the T-X Class Female Tactical "Android".
