Questions about Odyssey escort
 

Will it act as a shuttle or ship?
What are the stats for the escort?
Is there going to be a new bridge as well for the escort?
will there be an interior levels made for the escort?

Why would there be? It's a pet...

The D'Kyr's pet is also a Shuttle type for the ship so it's not without question that the Odyssey's might be as well.

I doubt it, though, as the craft is far more powerful then a common Small Craft.

It is suppose to be flyable as well for mission that need something smaller, but with more power or a punch of a shuttle. If I can find the STOKED episode where Al said something like this I will link it.

I thought it was going to be some kind of fighter craft. Not sure at this point.

I think Geko originally described it as Rapier-like. So it's more of an Escort then a Small Craft like the Peregrine. But that's just my guess. It's load-out seems much more advanced then what you see on a Peregrine.

its almost as big as the defiant so its by no means a shuttle i kinda see it as a striped out defiant so it cant really go on long journeys

It could be a sort of super-runabout (though the Peregrine is already about the size of a runabout) or more akin to a patrol boat. But at 140-170m it does sound more like a fully-functional starship in its own right.

Which makes it being carried by a mothership of some kind.. all the more odd, all in all.

Going by the game's 170 meter figure for the Defiant and the scale of the Odyssey in relation to the support vessel, the Aquarius escort is 140 meters long, which is bigger than a Bird of Prey or a bugship.

I hope it's an escort that can summon the larger Odyssey either as a pet or a ship to dock with that acts as reverse-MVAM armor.

You apparently can't fly the Aquarius class escort like you can the separate parts of the Prometheus in MVAM. No mention if you get a flyable version of it when you get the tac variant of the Odyssey, but it doesn't sound like you do.
But it is indeed an escort, and pretty loaded:
It has quad phaser cannons, phaser turrets, quantum torpedoes, and a point defense system.
