Pelia Sector... waste of space?

It was pretty cool to see space expanded when this area was released in Season2 (I think ?) But the area along with Gamma Orionis has been forgotten about.

Apart from a Fleet Action & 2x PVE missions, it seems like a bit of a waste of space?

Are we going to see this area made useful eventually for RA/BG+ players?
Because it's off limits to anyone below RA/BG, it would be nice to see some high end dailies, PVE, PVP areas.

What about a remote Starbase at least?

It would also add some more importance to Area Progression, rather the same fish bowl everyone plays in.

...How can we make use of this area?

Pelia and fluidic space were totlly forgotten about, daily missions and something other that that horrible fleet action need to be put in there.

The sector isn't even fleshed out, and was left like 1/3 complete. It was something that at one time they said they would finish up at a later date and of course was left half-done. Forever.

with the cut in half STF's and the queue system specifically, thats the death of Pelia and Fluidic space sectors entirely.

Sadly Pelia is pointless pretty much....maybe a future FE to try to tell the Undine that it was the Iconians' fault for ****ing them off?

An example of a half-done sector. It doesn't even get DSEs! And with the advent of PvE queues, it's basically dead.

They should probably put the used planets into Gamma Orionis and replace Pelia with a Fluidic Space Exploration Sector Block (but with DSEs perhaps?)
Of course, we'd need more than the Undine then in Fluidic Space, otherwise it would become boring fast. (I mean, faster than usual). But add some decent endgame gear or Dilithium Rewards to it, and you got a well frequented sector block.

they have said they want to touch up on sector space so there is hope for it yet

If Cryptic ever fixes the Foundry slot purchase bug, I'll be sure to work it into a mission.;)

One of the issues Cryptic have is investment of resources into an area that only RA/BG+ can access. But seeing that there are so many players at cap anyway, that argumentation is really not valid any more.

To get started - keep it simple.
  • Copy-Paste Starbase 39 into the sector
  • Add deep space encounters (please agro them)
  • Add Foundry access (not sure if this is there already)
  • Open up an Exploration Cluster
  • 1x Daily : Defend Starbase (Space)

Add more dailies in the next 6 months

This is a good idea, though they should spruce up the interior first. No two space stations are exactly alike.
