Why is it so difficult to become member of any fleet?
 

I don't understand.
I'm admiral. I have 5465 accolade points.
I played 90 STF. I played all of episode.
But when I ask people invite me in their own fleet. They say no. They don't send invitation.
What's the requirment to become members of fleet?

Strange I get complete randomers inviting me to join fleets o.O Especially at ESD.

Oddly enough, I see people spamming fleet recruitment messages all the time on ESD and DS9.

It''s why I'm asking if requirement is needed. Because I do not understand why many fleet refuse me. Maybe fleets are elitist and so then they don't want noobs. I play STO for 100 days :confused:

I dunno. No doubt there are some elitist fleets out there, but surely a lot arent.

Bout to need a new fleet myself. We have 130 members but on any given day the most online is about 8-10 and half of those dont even talk lol.

I am a member of a fleet and we are alway looking for new members, we are more about fun than anything serious though.

I run a fleet called 'Alpha Solaris' We are currently at around 115 members, and are quickly growing. We accept people of all character age, and are happy to help new players any advice they require. We have a full fleet bank, and a couple of fleet crafter's. I am personally happy to give escort players (Escorts are my speciality) a free full ship/character outfit when they get promoted, and can give any advice they need.

I don't see why other fleets don't allow people into their fleet when they actually WANT to join. That's just plain stupid. They then go out, asking for people to join, and wonder why they don't get anyone?

My fleet, Rde Shirt Army (and its secondary fleets, including the KDF fleet to Kodan Armada) are looking for members. Usually when someone asks me to join our fleet, I chat with them a tad to see if they can make a good fit, and then we let them in one of our secondariy fleets untill we know them enough to have them in the primary. If you are still looking for an invite, get a hold of me. @whamhammer , we will ahve a chat and odds are, you get in and rise up.

from the sounds of it you're asking jr. fleet members who perhaps don't think it appropriate to invite you when someone else on the fleet handles that job.

I could be wrong though.

My thoughts on why you were rejected:
- It was an exclusive fleet (must apply through a website or get noticed by a recruiter)
- It was personal fleet (a fleet bank for one player's horde of alts)
- It was a private fleet (a group of IRL friends or coworkers)
- You asked the wrong fleet member
- You didn't ask politely enough (or you implied that you weren't willing to fill out an application or go through the trial process)
